Smooth & Healthy Protein Smoothing Treatment Class
Recently in January, the Heads Up Hair Salon staff had Surface artist, Becky Schweitzer conduct a Smooth & Healthy Protein Smoothing Treatment Class at the salon. This treatment is new from Surface and is now available at the salon. This smoothing treatment has three options: smooth (straightens the hair), reduce curl, and defrizz (eliminates frizz associated with natural curl). Model, Bethany, received the smoothing option that straightened her naturally curly hair up to five months! This organic treatment utilizes amaranth proteins and babassu penentrating oils.
2010 Premier Encounter Hair Show
The Heads Up Salon stylists traveled to Lake Geneva on November 7-8th for the 2010 Premier Encounter hair show. The stylists attended several Redken seminars focusing on color such as the urban flavor of New York's hottest color trends and techniques for customization to create individualized color for each client. A favorite seminar attended by the stylist was with Phillip Wilson. Wilson, voted one of the most influential hairdressers of the past 100 years by Modern Salon magazine, demostrated his revolutionary FreeForm cutting techniques and styles inspired by the fashion runways of Paris, Milan, and New York.
